Description:
Algarabia is a Mexican magazine about culture, science, language and art. Every issue Algarabia invites re-known Mexican artists to design the cover. The guest artist must submit a visual interpretation based on the magazine title which means “noise and liveliness”

Rafael Esquer created an original ink drawing introducing the “algarabia” characters singing, dancing and jumping. In 2007 the collection of covers became a traveling exhibition in public spaces throughout Mexico.
