Description:
The mission of Amphibian Stage Productions is to produce “innovative and engaging works of theatre that challenge the way we see the world around us.” In developing the identity for ASP, Alfalfa Studio drew both conceptual and aesthetic inspiration from the rich, unique world of the amphibian family. Amphibian forms and patterns are used to create a visual vocabulary for articulating the ASP brand.
As part of the overall brand, ASP wanted an exceptional Web experience that was accessible to a broad audience. The site had to adhere to ASP's new brand standards and allow for easy and frequent content updates.
Alfalfa redesigned the site, reworked the site architecture and teamed up with Out of Nowhere to develop a custom content management utility. In addition, features such as secure ticket-buying and an events calendar were added to the site. Because the site needed to appeal to users from around the world, Alfalfa designed the site to be as "light" as possible, ensuring quick access from even a basic dial-up connection.
