The Book of Everyone, a project devised by ad creatives Jason Bramley, Jonny Biggins and Steve Hanson, offers to create a personalized 50-page book based on the life of a person of your choosing.  Through the ‘Book of Everything’ website, customers are asked to enter the name and date of birth of the person the book is about, followed by their own name. Then give it thirty seconds and your book has been constructed for you to view online.

The finished book is a collection of fascinating trivia and facts that are related to that person’s date of birth. You’ll find out what TV show was most popular and even the likely weight of the food you’ve consumed over the years! The stats were compiled by the ‘Book of Everything’ team, with a database containing 130,000 scenarios – making sure each version of the book is unique. The extensive database took the team two years to create.

The weird and wonderful facts and statistics are teamed with beautiful illustrations, which keep you leafing through the book. The creators made a conscious decision to collaborate with a number of illustrators in order to generate a huge array of visual styles.

Although the online creation seems to be lacking a certain hand crafted appeal, the digital process allows for simple ordering and personalization.
