It’s about time to introduce you to one of my favorite artists/designers who I really admire and has always been a huge inspiration. It is my pleasure to present you the great work of Jill Tsai the Design Queen of Cappatea Culture Design.
From the Website of Jill Tsai:
Taiwanese born artist; based in London where she lives and works Jill is the Design Queen of “Cappatea Culture Design” where she rules her design kingdom. Never limiting herself to any one medium Jill uses graphic design, illustration, painting and sculpture to realise her creations. Many of her artworks focus on human qualities, humour, consumption and beauty. With numerous exhibitions in both London, Los Angeles and Taipei, Jill has created a variety fantastical art pieces, graphic novels and sculptural artworks.
Besides her job as a landscape architect she always finds time to bring her own side projects to life and that with amazing success from graphic novels to hats and jewelry there are no limits for Jill.
Taking time off from work and using your sabbatical for your own creative projects is one of the dreams of every creative person I guess. So get up and get inspired on her blog. So for that reason I want to share the last two outcomes of her creative sabbaticals.
The first one is for ADULTS ONLY. So are you ready for the horror story about London psycho killer – Charlie!?
If you live in Charlie’s London city, see below some advice to keep away from a psycho killer
To calm your nerves and get rid of your goosebumps after all the horror stories just look at her first graphic novel called Austin’s Neighbors. As most of children’s books, this is not only for children, adults can get some useful advice too. Enjoy and follow Austin’s examples.
Austin is a little boy, he is the kind of kid that always tells the bloody truth.
His neighbourhood is alive with immigrants of differing ethnic and cultural backgrounds and that is one of the reasons he loves London. Now Austin is going to introduce his strange and curious neighbours with a light and witty, rhyming dialogue and there are always funny stories.
