Humor is the most effective weapon to capture someone’s attention. That’s exactly what writer and director Steve Dildarian has used to bring to the forefront an important environmental issue: Marine pollution.

The main star of I’m Going to Bite Someone is a fed up shark that bitterly explains to a friend his clever plan to convince humans to stop polluting the ocean. The short is a Staff Pick and the winner Best Animated Film at the San Francisco International Ocean Film Festival.

The crude animation, smart writing, and the absurd, tragic ending will, hopefully, make us think twice before throwing garbage into the ocean. Hey, sharks are people too!
