Here is a Japanese girl who manipulates her selfies and makes them into surreal artwork. Izumi Miyazaki, a 20-year-old Japanese photographer, infuses magic into pictures of herself which otherwise might have been mundane. Most of her artworks’ backgrounds are staged in everyday places.
Back in 2012, Izumi Miyazaki started her Tumblr to share her creative work with her followers. Putting herself as the main subject, Izumi shows her strong identity which calls up fresh emotions to the public. She grew up as a lonely child, but when she was asked about her photos, she said: “I don’t feel lonely when I make and watch photos of a double me.”
