Last month, two popular brands, Supreme and Louis Vuitton, launched a new collaborative project with special pop-up stores. These stores can be found in the United States, United Kingdom, China, Australia, Korea, Japan, and France. On June 30th, fashion lovers, celebrities, and resellers headed to the pop-up stores and there was a crazy line waiting for them. In the UK, people needed to be prepared with their identification to show they were of legal age to enter the store.

Someone might think this is the best collaboration ever. Others might think this is very commercial, and they think that Supreme sold their rebellious spirit for money. Personally, I think that the collaboration between two brands on the opposite spectrum of the fashion industry is pretty interesting. In addition, they could complement each other. This way, they can reach out to the cluster of customers that those that brands could not sell their products to before. Design wise, interacting two attractive and iconic logos makes me simply thrilled. There is a potential within this collaboration.

In NYC, the pop-up stores will be launched on July 14th. If you have the patience to wait for a long time under the sun, your effort might pay off in the end.
