Today I won’t be writing about sports like I usually do. Although the artist I’m about to introduce has done sports-related designs, today I will focus more on his animations. It was through the music platform Boiler Room that I found out about him and became fascinated with his work.

I want to take the time to introduce the work of London based designer, currently residing in Sweden, Joe Prytherch. Joe was formerly the art director for the global online music broadcasting platform, Boiler Room. For Boiler Room, British illustrator experienced the growth of this platform along with having contributed to some of the brands’ iconic flyers, posters, and videos. After spending more than a decade working with Boiler Room, Joe has become a freelance illustrator that goes by the name of Mason London, Moniker studio.

His work now in days continues to be exciting and consists of illustrations and animations. His digital illustrations have an organic feel to it which mostly is due to the use of textures used. The main areas he works with is sports and predominantly music. Joe has an extent resume with clients such as The New Yorker, J Dilla Estate, and Stones Throw Records. See below a few of his animations and enjoy it! I encourage you to check his website and also explore his football-related illustrations.
