Yarza Twins is an award winning graphic design studio based in London specialists in branding, creative direction, art direction and graphic and web design. Born in Spain, the the twins Eva and Marta Yarza have eight years of experience working in Madrid, New York and London, where the two are currently based.
Among their design achievements, they have been awarded a prestigious D&AD Pencil in Packaging Design 2018 and we have also been selected as 1 of the 15 most exciting designers under 30 by Print Magazine 2016. The Yarza twins have worked on a number of very exciting projects with big brands such as Adidas, Converse, HP, Microsoft, Universal, MTV, Smirnoff, Adobe, Vice and many more. One project worth mentioning is the Yarza Twins collaboration with HP and Smirnoff to create a limited edition bottle. based on diversity, Each bottle they designed is unique because of a HP plugin that easily allowed Yarza Twins to create millions of variations of 21 character designs. The tag line for this campaign is “Everyone is the same, everyone is different”.

We collaborated with HP and Smirnoff to create a limited edition bottle based on the concept of diversity. Each bottle is unique to the other, thanks to a plugin by HP, Smart stream D4D, we could create millions of variations at a click. To create these series, we portrayed 21 people from all parts of the world and mixed them with 21 hats, patterns and bodies. The number 21 comes from Smirnoff No 21 Vodka. To print these vibrant colours, we used the HP Indigo technology and 7 colors: CMYK + Green, Purple and Orange.
As a curiosity, all patterns come originally from the iconic Smirnoff eyebrow logo, reflecting well on the concept of diversity, how one thing can be the same, but different.

The Yarza twins are no strangers when it comes to re branding businesses, and their execution is never a let down as seen in their previous HP collaboration for Smirnoff. Another spectacular re brand curated by the Yarza twins is the logo and system created for a small council called Oia. When The Oia council approached Yarza twins to design their logo and system, the biggest handicap was that being a small council, there would be no budget for official photography so they had to focus on smart copy and outstanding typography that they done with perfection.

When creating the brand, we wanted to highlight that anyone can feel part of Oia when visiting, and so we stacked the name vertically and made the logo look like a rag doll that could be personalized freely by anyone. We wanted to create a minimal identity to keep it in line with the fact that Oia is a very small town, and so, we limited the design elements to its essentials, the logo, the typeface and the neon green that reflects the green beauty of this natural region that plays with each other to create a complete set of branding.

The Yarza Twins branding for a clients app called Dogout is another successfully executed identity branding with fun design elements of colour, positioning and styling. Overall it has a perfectly fitted brand look to match the subject matter.

Dogout is a dog friendly map of Europe. The app shows all dog friendly restaurants, cafes, hotels, pubs, beaches, work spaces and activities around the UK, Ireland and major European cities. Our tasks here were diverse from strategy, positioning and naming of the brand to creating its logo and brand book, the design of the app & website and the launch of an animated video campaign.
