We are currently living in a world that constantly continues to evolve. This rapid change requires us to change as well and evolve in the way we perceive the environment. An issue that has aroused throughout the past years is climate change and it is a serious topic. Human actions are affecting the planet and it is in our hands to take actions and better the environment. A creative way to help out and raised awareness has been done by creative event company Glug.

Glug had recently released a database of protest posters related to the Global Climate Strike Week. Counting with a global community of around 50,000 creatives, Glug is asking designers and creatives to submit their posters related to climate change. The campaign is called #ProtestByDesign and so far has a good amount of designs archived into their database.

Through their chive site any protester can download the designs they mostly appeal to free of charge. All creative are invited to submit their designs which also happens to be a competition. A judging panel composed of Tate Modern director, Frances Morris, and photographer Rankin will be selecting the winning designs.

Glug CEO stated the following:

“We want to support these young people as much as possible.

“There are an estimated one million people turning up, but those millions aren’t necessarily designers. We have designers, so we wanted to see if we could create a substantial database.”

A thing to note about this competition is the various illustrative styles perceived. Its fun taking a look at some of these creative designs. If you happen to like a design, all you have to do is download it and print it.
