Katie Daisy is an illustrator, designer, and artist whose mixed-media artwork captures the essence of living with nature. Based in Oregon, her work will make you feel as if you are part of a beautiful wildflower field. With almost 100k followers on Instagram, Daisy’s feed is filled with paintings that include inspirational literature and quotes. Furthermore, her Instagram stories often take the viewer behind the scenes and show the process behind her art.
A graduate of the Minneapolis College of Art & Design, Daisy’s illustrations are reflective of childhood summers spent in Northern Illinois farm country. Raised in the small town of Lindenwood, Illinois, her art was shaped by her rural upbringing. Daisy continuously weaves the magic of the prairie into her designs, which inspire self-discovery and liberation.
When creating art, Daisy typically paints on cotton paper with a mix of acrylic paint and concentrated watercolors. She has been doodling for as long as she remembers, but really developed her identity as an artist when she took her first art classes in high school. During this time, Daisy dove into painting, drawing, sculpture, and photography. Ever since she graduated from college in 2009 with a BFA, she has been freelancing and runs her own Etsy shop.

Trust. The. Magic. ? Tonight I’m staying in and meditating on the year ahead. I’m getting serious about my intentions, hopes, dreams, fears, and trusting everything will work out as it’s meant to 🙂 Here’s a peek at what I wish to invite more of into my year: Trips to gather inspiration (Big Sur, Joshua Tree, Asheville), fitness/wellness, family time, less hustle, new rituals and habits, meditation, more nature, more coffee shop sketching, $ave more, write a beautiful book, launch a new website, get rid of things, night trips, poetry, trust uncertainty, keep joy alive, patience, slay anxiety, surround self with good & authentic humans who inspire, keep healthy boundaries, more splendor, more vegetables, more velvet, more laughing, & a little more self compassion. Happy happy happy new year everyone! It’s going to be a lovely one ?
