The COVID19 pandemic has affected every event this year, challenging organizers and institutions to rethink their strategies and the way they deliver their services and products. The 58th edition of The New York Film Festival is no exception. We are definitely going to miss visiting the Lincoln Center for some of the best film screenings from all around the World. But Film at Lincoln Center is offering a different experience this year.

This year’s edition is going to happen in 3 different ways. 2 Drive-In theatres (Brooklyn Army Terminal and The New York Hall of Science) and a Virtual Cinema platform.

Chloé Zhao’s Nomadland will be the festival’s centrepiece starring Frances McDormand. Steven McQueen’s Lover Rock will be the opening night feature and Azazel Jacobs’ French Exit will de the closing night feature. This edition showcases 25 new feature films from around the world.

The festival is happening from September 17 to October 11. Take a look at the full line up here.
