By this time most of you know how much we are fans of soccer, here at Alfalfa Studio, especially me of the Premier League. Whether it’s recent transfer news, rumors, illustrations, and even animations, bet to believe I am up to date. This past season was good. Things went back to normal with Chelsea champion and we didn’t have another David and Goliath story where a small team crowns themselves’ champion.
For the second year straight, designers Charlie Sims, Sam Smith, and Josh Williams launched a season annual printed book that gives you a recap of what went on in the best of the league. In case you missed the major highlights, these designers will keep you up to date and no…don’t worry it’s not your average book full of text that’ll bore you to death. This book is full of wonderful illustrations of the protagonists of this league, as well as important events that went on throughout the course of the season. This season annual gives you a week by week analysis. Something to note is that this project was made possible with the help of other creatives: 39 illustrators stamped their work in this book and three sports journalists contributed to the whole analysis.
In this book, you’ll see cool illustrations that include “the special one,” Mourinho, John Terry‘s Chelsea farewell. You’ll also see how many shots Philippe Coutinho took outside the box, and how much Eden Hazard could move on the pitch. This season annual is a must get for all soccer fans.
