|Product||30 sec TV spot|
The spot is intended not only to promote the re-release of George Harrison’s album “All Things Must Pass,” but also as a showcase of Harrison’s sense of humor and imagination.
George was, of course, a part of the unique Beatles humor, and has also worked closely with members of Monty Python. The director looked at various visual inspirations, such as Terry Gilliam’s animations and surrealist art.
The goal was to create an imaginary world where the present and the past, the real and the surreal, the serious and the absurd, coexist. Viewers could explore George's world, discover its quirks, and hopefully think about issues beyond the album, such as the environment, the use of imagination, and the role of the spiritual.
