A couple of weeks ago, Calum wrote a post about the first selfie in history, it was done in the early 1900s. Over one hundred years later, selfie—the act of taking photographs of oneself and upload them to the Internet—is becoming part of our everyday vocabulary.

Very recently, TIME Magazine conducted a study which included 400,000 Instagram images which have been tagged with the word ‘selfie’ into an interactive map. Using the geographic coordinates embedded in each photo, TIME was able to chart ‘the selfiest cities in the world.’
