I’m extremely grateful that there is a wealth of information about designers today. From podcasts to interviews to Instagram, it’s like we actually know the designer behind the name. My favorite part about the design community is how open, honest, and genuine most people are. When we read interviews, they are characteristically serious, intimate, and personal. AR Design decided to do something a little different:

The anti-interview series that dives deep into the quirky crevasses of designers, illustrators, and typographers. Dumb Questions for Smart Designers (DQSD) consists of fun tales and hilarious anecdotes from the most talented creatives around the world.

DQSD successfully made me laugh out loud and also go “aww.” Some of these responses were just sincerely sweet. If you’re in need of a good laugh, here were some of my favorite anti-interviews responses:
