The Best Kits of Russia 2018 World Cup

I am so excited to announce that the World Cup has kicked off this morning at approximately 11 AM. To make things more exciting, Russia and Saudi Arabia will dispute the first game of the most prestigious tournament in the world, and of all time.

Many of us, of course, have a team to root for, but there are fans that unfortunately won’t be able to see their nation participate in Russia. If you don’t have a team to root for, maybe after this post you might have one…based on your favorite jersey.

A lot of nations went all out to make jerseys their fans would proudly sport. There are other countries that thought a plain color and a logo would be enough. A few weeks ago, I shared how many nations opted to use a customized font for their kits (which I thought England had the best kit numbers). Everyone has their own taste, but today I will be sharing what are my top ten jerseys of this world cup. Spoiler alert: Nigeria’s jersey has been the most hyped one. They were able to sell out within hours of release. I am not a big fan of Nigeria’s jersey, however, I could see why it’s popular among their fans.

Every four years, Nike, Adidas, and Puma have been the top distributors of kits, and this year they made sure all jerseys were up to date with new technology. While Nike uses Fast Fit Vaporknit kits to facilitate speed through performance and aesthetic, Adidas incorporates Climachill kit technology within their design. The main feature of many jerseys is their interesting patterns. Below are my favorites. Since I don’t want to get into a debate about why I like one jersey more than another, they are not in order of preference. However, I would like to mention that you will see me rocking Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, and England’s jerseys.
