Mark Conlan is an illustrator currently working and living in Melbourne, and is well-known for his vibrant, whimsical style, and interests in creating atmospheric imagery. His unique approach to texture, color, characters, and composition make him stand out amongst other artists.
Using his distinctive style, he intertwines characters and shapes to further pull viewers into this world he creates. With each new piece, he showcases new skills and imagination. He has created illustrations for many well-known clients like Airbnb, The New York Times, Adobe, The Guardian, and Etsy.
In this piece for Airbnb’s Trust magazine, he uses characters and their gestures to depict a sense of belonging, caring, and trust for their brand.
Check out more of his work on IG, as well as a few of my favorite illustrations by him below!
