I have recently tried to read books more often than ever because, at first, I wanted to disconnect myself from the world. Actually, it works for me. I do like looking at illustrations and printed letters on real paper. Some people read books on their tablets for their own reasons.; lack of physical space, money, and portability. However, I like to hold a real book because of its physicality. Also, I don’t need to worry about battery and sight. When I was learning digital-related design in school, someone said, “Paper will die.” I bought it at that moment. Then I realized that it was not true. I have become more certain of that whenever I find great publication design.

Today, I’d like to introduce a design company, Priest and Grace, based in Brooklyn, New York.

Their content development, art direction, and typographic design are exciting. If you are a kind of person who enjoys flipping through books again and again in your couch (whenever you want), I would say buying books and magazines is such a noble investment. I remember that I wanted to take great design books away from my professors. They cherished their old books so much.

It can be published digitally, however, if you like the physical act of touching paper, holding a weight of books, and looking at printed-in-ink letters, then please do invest in publication. You are on the side of print will not die.
