What a football summer! We are two tournaments down and one more to go. Congratulations to Argentina and Italy for winning their respective cups. The final international FIFA tournament of the Summer is the Concacaf Copa Oro which will feature teams from the North and Central American region. Although it might not be as competitive are Eurocup or Copa America it is still full of excitement. Today I will be sharing the logo evolution of this prestigious North American cup.

Born in 1963, Copa Oro is a tournament governed by Concacaf where sixteen regional national teams compete. Mexico and the USA are the two national teams with the most titles; Mexico with 11 and the USA with 6. The Copa Oro branding has always featured the sillouhete of the trophy except for the year 1991. Recently it has turned more minimalistic but it has never reached the full potential of exciting branding. See below the logo evolution starting from 1991.
